The forecast called for rain, and the threat loomed all day…. it was a race against time, to get the outdoor ceremony completed…
Going back to the beginning of the day…Gabriella is one of the most laid back brides. She loves life, and loves her friends and family, and was so excited to get married. Jason is a wonderful guy, has amazing friends and family, and his love for Gabriella is beyond obvious. Many family members flew in from Italy, and the day was truly an amazing celebration. The venue, White Chimneys in Lancaster, was spectacular- rustic and welcoming, with picturesque views.
Ceremony was completed before the rain (Phew!), and the reception tent provided more than enough cover from the downpour that happened. Oh, and Gabriella’s Dad walked up to Jason, during the cake cutting, grabbed a piece of cake, and smeared it all over jason’s head. So, that was a first. It was the most hilarious moment- guests were shocked, but then everyone broke out in gut busting laughter. Such a memorable day.
